Book tickets and visits →Plan at least 2 hours. The tunnel alone can take between 20 and 40 minutes if you stop to watch, and a full visit is closer to 2 or 3 hours. Once you are inside you can stay as long as you like on the day of your visit, but if you leave the building you have to buy a new ticket to come back.
One hour before closing. On a weekday that means 18:00, and at the weekend 19:00. If you want time for the tunnel and the penguins without hurrying, arrive in the morning.
The penguins eat every day at 11:30 and 16:30. The sharks in the Oceanarium are fed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at around 12:00, except on public holidays, and the rays at 14:00 every day except Sunday. The times can change for the welfare of the animals.
Yes, there are two experiences, and they are separate from the entry ticket. In the shark cage you watch the sharks from inside the tank: no diving licence is needed, you must be at least 8 years old, and it runs every day for 2 hours. For the shark dive you need a diving licence and must be at least 10 years old, and it runs only on Wednesday and Sunday. Both are for a maximum of 4 people and require a medical questionnaire. You book them by email or phone with the Aquarium.
Yes, for children from 8 to 12 years old. In Sleep with Sharks the children sleep on mats in front of the big window of the Oceanarium, from 19:30 on a Friday evening until 10:00 the next morning.
